Our Mission for York County

To strengthen local families and professionals by encouraging collaboration among public and private agencies, the faith-based community, schools, and the broader York community.

The Family Issues Roundtable is a nonprofit organization that is comprised of agencies and organization in York, PA. You can view our current list of committee members by visiting the Steering Committee page.

We achieve our mission primarily though the networking of the Steering Committee and through training events offered to those who are committed to strengthen and supporting families in the York Area.

FUNDING

Family Issues Roundtable (FIR) generates funds by hosting professional trainings and in-kind support services from member agencies. This organization charges no membership fee.

We do not operate as a 501C(3) organization. Family Issues Roundtable (FIR) utilizes another agency with a 501C(3) status as its fiduciary agent.

Family Issues Round Table

MEMBERSHIP

Members consist of representatives from public and private agencies, the faith based community, schools and the community at large. The Steering Committee membership will not exceed 25 members.

Membership entails an expressed interest and commitment in participating in and supporting activities of the Family Issues Roundtable (i.e. Serving as an officer and/or on various subcommittees).
